Ghanaian born Sabbi called to USMNT

Forward Emmanuel Sabbi was part of the U.S. squad at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Korea Republic and will look to become the 10th player from that team to earn a USMNT cap. Injured at the start of the Danish SuperLiga season, Sabbi recorded two goals and two assists in his four appearances for Odense prior to the World Cup break.grid-61880ee4-cd9c-4aba-81b8-fd616b92b3071674131625.jpeg

Emmanuel Sabbi will return home to the States this week, as he has been selected for the first time for the US A national team, which will gather in California, where they will have practice matches against Serbia on January 25th, after which they will face Colombia on January 28th.

Although it is the first time that Emmanuel Sabbi has been selected for the American A national team, he does not come without national team experience, as he has played a total of 25 youth national team matches, where he has also scored four goals for the U20 national team.

Congratulations on the selection, Sabbi!
