On Tuesday night June 6, 2023, two persons; a male and female were found dead on the north side of Columbus Ohio
Gunshots were heard in the neighborhood of Columbus Ohio on the 4800 block of Glendon Road at approximately 10:36 p.m. The neighbours got alarmed by the gunshots and alerted the police.
The police reported that, two victims were involved. One(male) was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:05 p.m. The second(female) victim was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in a very bad condition.
The police after their investigation said that a 49-year-old man shot a 50-year-old woman before fatally shooting himself.
The two victims in question are Ghanaians, natives of Ash town in Kumasi. The deceased ( male) was identified as Nana Kwabena Amoako popularly known as Sumankwaahene. Back in Ghana, Mr. Amoako was interested in Mrs. Harriet but since he had nothing, Mrs. Harriet never returned the affection. Amoako later travelled to America through lottery. Years later, he went back to Ghana to marry his precious jewel Mrs. Harriet. He then made arrangements for her to join him in America to enjoy life together. The two were married for twenty good years with four kids. He was later confronted by his wife that, she no longer wants to be with him. According to rumours, the late Amoako usually drinks a lot which always gets on the nerves of Madam Harriet.
Before the well laid out incident, Mr. Amoako left all his social media platforms and made an audio for his daughter. According to the audio;
Mrs. Harriet found love with Emmanuel Duah who has been a lover and husband. She further made it clear to the late Nana Kwabena Amoako that, he was nothing but a friend who served as her ticket to America. Her words were like that of a two-edged sword that slashed into pieces Mr. Amoako's heart. Since he can't watch someone enjoy his investment, he shot Mrs. Harriet on the chest and committed suicide. Fortunately for Mrs. Harriet, the gunshot did not affect any of her delicate organs and was resuscitated in the Intensive Care Unit. Reports says that, she has been stabilised and very much alive at the hospital. Amoako could not survive because he shot himself in the head. Before committing suicide he made an audio to his children who lived with them in Columbus Ohio. He showed them all his properties and shared them amongst Ewura and Nhyira. Investigations are ongoing to get to the root of the matter.
